The competition in the market today relies on how businesses innovate or create new ideas, uniquely and creative because of the aesthetic preference of the new generation.
Everyday, new trends are being invented. One of the trends today, is pastry.
Cakes, when I was young, come in plain box or circle shapes, coated with vanilla or chocolate icing and with hard icing in a shape of flowers on top. The designs, on the cake, however are not edible e.g. Snow white and the 7 dwarfs, rainbows, plants etc, as they were made of plastics.
Good news! Everything you see on cakes today may be edible now. They not only satisfy your taste buds but they’re also aesthetically pleasing that they will make you drool.
Dream Cakes by Michelle Stephann provides consumers this kind of experience. Cakes are customized, whatever consumers want their cakes to look like. She can turn sugar look like a statue or a cartoon.

There are also lots of pastry stores showing up everywhere like mushrooms. This is a confirmation of how popular pastries now and people really patronize sweet delicacies.
But we must remember to limit our sweet intakes regardless of how sweet and tempting cakes are or we might end up having diabetes.
What do you think of aesthetically pleasing cakes?
