Appreciating the beauty of Vigan

Having an internship during summer is no joke. For one, the chance of going on a vacation is kind of impossible. But like the saying, If there’s a will, there’s a way.

This is my experience last summer. My sister went home from Dubai and we planned a summer trip. My mom suggested we go to Ilocos for there are lots of places to visit there so, we decided to take a break from our own personal businesses and go on a trip to Ilocos.

The travel alone is 8 hours by land. 8 hours is not a joke since it is our first time to travel that long. It was exhausting but, when we finally got there, our excitement and energy restored.

We went first to Vigan. It’s the best place I got to go. The scenery is perfect, from the century old houses to the very classic streets. It is also perfect for relaxation and reflection.

I also witnessed the beauty of their Paoay Church. It is perfect for reflection because the aura of the church is overwhelmingly good.

Aside from Vigan, we also visited Baluarte, Pagudpud, and Bangui Windmills. I am so glad I got to see and experience these places with my family.
