The Animator
“Animation or Motion Graphics is a magic that you put on a film or video to make it more creative and interesting”. This was stated by Sean Kyle John Liza, a student of University of the Assumption under College of Computer Science and Information Technology Department, he is well known to be one of the best students when it comes to editing, animation, motion graphics or also known as after effects.
He found his talent in animation way back in his 2nd year high school; he is already fascinated with editing since his childhood and discovered his skills in animation when he noticed that simple editing is not yet enough, so he tried to put some animations to make his works more lively and fun.
“Kapag nagawa ko yung animation na nasa imagination ko parang ang saya sa feeling lalo na kapag yung nagawa mo mas maganda dun sa naisip mo. Masarap din kasi sa feeling kapag yung ibang tao makikita nila gawa mo tapos napapa ‘Wow’ sila” Sean said. One of his achievements is when their Documentary film with the title of “Cyberbullying” got the “Best Video Editing Award” during their “Techno Day 2015” that was being organized by his department and was held at the said University. “Yung Makita ng ibang tao yung gawa ko para sakin achievement na yon” he humbly said.
Sean Kyle is definitely a pride of his department, he even pointed out that it is not just experiences that you can get in being a video editor or an animator but also wisdom that you can undeniably use in your everyday life. “Na minsan kailangan mong paghirapan ang isang bagay na gusto mong mangyari or makita or makuha kahit gaano man to katagal at kahirap” Sean said.
