One Makeup Look for all Types of Beauty
With all the cosmetics brands, both high-end and drugstore, that comes out with new makeup products every so often, it's easy to fall into the trap of buying products that are not essential to the type of facial features you have.
Say you have bushy brows, is there a need to buy more brow products? Save yourself four bucks or more by just buying a brow gel to set and tame them. Say you have structured cheekbones, is it essential to buy a contour palette? Unless you want to look like you haven't eaten in a week, then go for it. Say you have naturally plump lips, would you still buy lip products that makes them look fuller and bigger? If yes, then you may have binge-watched a whole season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians overnight.
Makeup tutorials posted by beauty gurus and makeup trends that are taking over the Internet today may not be suitable for all types of beauty. However, there is one makeup look that may possibly look good on everyone. Makeup enthusiasts call it the "glowy and dewy nude look." It creates the illusion of a highlighted look without being over the top. This is also wearable for all types of occasions.
This trend does not require a ton of makeup products as it mainly focuses on three products. After doing your foundation routine, you're down to the last three steps. You just need a nude lipstick with brown undertone, a dark peachy bronzer that can also be used as the eyeshadow and a highlighter, of course. Don't forget to put on a coat or two of your favorite mascara to complete the look.
To prove that this makeup does wonders to everyone, our glam team tried it out on four different ladies with distinctive auras. One is caucasian-looking, the other one has asian features, the third is a morena beauty and the last embodies a classic look. In collaboration with Gerald Gloton of Dream Project, our team did a beauty shoot to show the glowy and dewy nude look on the ladies. The results? Thay all slayed in every photo. And on top of that, they all synced when shot in group photos.
The bottom line is, whatever makeup look you're going for, it's always best worn in its simplest form. The job of makeup is to enhance our natural facial features, not to transform us into a whole new or another being.
