An overwhelming experience for the “King of Talk”, Boy Abunda, after being awarded by the National Teachers College (NTC) last Tuesday, August 30.
Abunda was given a recognition by the NTC for being a huge influence in using the “Wikang Filipino” (Filipino language) in several of his television programs in ABS-CBN that include his late night show, “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
On his interview in the news program “Bandila”, “Pinapanood ka ng mga bata. Pinapanood ka ng mga guro. Words matter.” He said.
It seems that words matter for Boy Abunda, but it would truly matter if words are use in our own language.
