DISCONTENTMENT
The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the LORD upon me. Ezekiel 3:14
In this passage, I realized that not all bitterness are from evil. Bitterness can also be used by God, but it depends on the source of it. It must come from a godly desire that we have in our heart. It’s our own desire that hasn’t been met yet. This will take place in us as Christians when we realize that what we’re looking for is God’s will. We must ask God first in everything that we do so we can get a positive outcome, but sometimes, it doesn't happen the way we wanted it to happen. All these great men and women of God; Hannah, Job, Hezekiah, and Ezekiel were discontent with the way things were. They realized that Lord God Jesus was going to do something amazing that they didn't know at first; but they were just impatient in the waiting process. In that sense, Jesus our Lord is calling for all the discontent believers. Bitterness in your spirit is one of the sign that needs to be changed. But how do you make it happen? We must cry out to God, we must give all of our heaviness to Him, we must ask for the forgiveness of our sins and never repeat them. God’s grace is enough for that kind of bitterness.
