Aiming to be a celebrity hair and make up artist, a nineteen year old student Jerwin Paul Yambao or preferrably called as Jerba is undeniably not just a big name in Angeles University Foundation where he attends his schooling as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication student but also well known to be one of the 'looked up' HMUA in the whole province of Pampanga.
Beginning his career little by little, Jerba found his talent back in his high school days, he was already fascinated with how makeup can change a person's appearance and how it can boost one's confidence. He started doing other people's makeup for free since he still doesn't have lots of products and skills during his first days in his chosen field. He also needed someone who is willing to be his so called 'guinea pig'. Jerba even stated, "Up until now I am still learning, makeup is just like that, it is an unending process. You learn new techniques as time goes by."
Relating it to life, the aspiring celebrity hair and make up artist Jerba at the peak of his career humbly said "Learn how to love who you really are. Cosmetics are just products and are used to make a person feel confident and beautiful, but it shouldn't mask who you really are because at the end of the day, you will wash it all off. I learned and still learning a lot of things in my journey, one is dealing with my clients, be kind to anyone, because you don't know who your possible clients will be. Also, the most important thing in achieving great work is to love what you do."
