The Carrier
Lamentations 3: 57 KJV
[57] Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not
This life, the life you are living, is pretty much unpredictable. It is like a roller coaster, having its ups, twirls, dips, loops. Or like what Forest Gump said, “Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re going to get”. Life - it shocks you, amazes you, scares you, it exhilarates you. And it usually gives you what you least expect at different moments in your life.
Life is not that hard especially when you are happy and having fun with it. When it gives you what you want and when it is easy for you to walk through it. But like everything else, Life balances your experiences with it- if it gives you happy times, it will give you trying times. At one point in your life you will experience feeling like you are on top of the world and then the next, you are lying on the ground, weeping, breathing hard and not knowing what your next move is.
And that’s where God comes to light. I’m not saying that He only comes in bad times but people usually remember Him when there are bad things happening in their life. Everyone is guilty of this but the point here is, your father in Heaven is always there to rescue you. He will be your carrier who will help you carry your burdens. Your deliverer who will be ready to guide you to safety. Your redeemer who will give you hope and light up the path that is right for you. Be not afraid of what life may throw at you because your Savior is only a prayer away.
Do not be afraid, just pray. Remember that the most powerful armour against all odds in your life is prayer. Pray to your Father, your Saviour.
